My name is Jodi and I’m a writer. (Phew, that is tough to say out loud!)
One of my biggest goals in life is to write something that you will want to read and enjoy and share with your family and friends.
I have been writing for most of my life. I received a B.S. degree in Agricultural Journalism many moons ago from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Reality has never really been my thing though, so I turned to writing fiction. I’ve completed several novels, but have yet to be published. I’m feeling really good about my current project though, so fingers crossed.
This site is a mixture of my thoughts, my publishing journey, and to tell you about the great books I read, so you can enjoy them too!
On a more personal note, I have a wonderful husband, two beautiful kids, a dog, and a cat. We all live together in a charming town in Southwestern Wisconsin where like anywhere else in this amazing state, there are a variety of fried cheese curds to devour.
Speaking of small towns, my stories all take place in some fictional version of the small Wisconsin towns in which I have lived, minus the murder and mayhem that finds my characters. I hope you find them as fun to read as they are for me to write.
